William looked one last time to the mirror before leaving and closing the door behind him, he was dressing one of his many suits, each of his possessions cost a small fortune, but money had never been a problem, he used it and abused it without thinking twice, his parents didn't even bother looking at the bills. The one he was wearing now, was an Emporio Armani, dark blue with a pink shirt under it that had a couple of buttons undone on top just to give a more laid back look.
Entering his convertible white lamborghini, William put his sunglasses on and ran his fingers through his hair before rotating the key. He loved what he had and being the self-centered and narcissistic guy he was, showing of was one of his main characteristics, although he didn't actually did it on purpose, it was inevitable when having so many things, still, he loved the attentions.
His guitar was in the trunk like always, it was a must, he never leaved it behind, although White hill was more a place he went to just do something and not sit on his ass all day, he loved music and he loved singing and playing, he wasn't trying to make a future out of it, but one could never know too much, so at the same time he was in the university and he was doing something he had pleasure in.
Stopping the car on a hill, the beach could be seen from above, it was a sunny day, but not enough to put on his bathing suit and take a dip, it was still a little chilly so the reason he went there was just to relax and run from the boredom of the "city" if he could call it that.
Taking his guitar from the trunk, he sat on the back seat and started playing a soft tune, his voice joining in later and creating a beautiful sinfony...

It wasn't often Twigg had time to take a visit down to the beach, but the shop was taken care of, ryan was there doing inventory, and Kennie was off doing something or other, probably either involving cars or music or guys, she hadn't asked, though they were best friends they didn't need to know everything about each others schedules. Yet living together usually meant they did.
Stopping briefly as she hit the sand from the grass she wriggled her nose and hitched the one year old perched on her hip further up her body, she wasn't in danger of dropping him yet, but better safe than sorry. As Tyler gained a few inches of air he laughed happily, arms waving wildly, narrowly missing his Moms face as she made her way down the beach, her sandal clad feet sinking into the sand. The feel of the grains beneath her toes were uncomfortable, but she'd set Tyler down in a minute and take them off, at least that was better when they weren't caught between skin and leather.
As soon as the boy spotted the endless blue before him he squealed loudly, drawing looks from the few people on the beach, luckily they were all looks that Twigg read as 'aww he's so adorable' or 'bless him,' so she didn't have to dish out any dirty looks. With a gargled "SEA!" and a lot of wriggling, Tyler earned himself freedom and after adjusting her bag she set him down near the waters edge. Close enough that the sand was damn for him to dig in, but far enough away from the slowly advancing waves that he was in no danger from being swept away. Though the tide was high, Twigg had been coming here since she got here and she knew the beach well enough to know to know they were safe from any more water.
Dropping her bag on the floor she shrugged out of her chunky cardigan, leaving her in her shiny gold bikini and beach shorts that she'd taken from Jamie's room before she left. Smiling at the boy at her feet she watched as he quickly caked himself in a mixture of water and sand. "Now come on, if you get dirty too fast we'll be home within an hour," bending down she wiped at him with the towel that was draped over her bag. When she straightened again, her eyebrows raised at the sound of music and a voice floating on the breeze, no one else seemed to turn at the sound of it, so it must have been going on for a while and this was the first time the blonde had noticed. Turning she saw no one around her on the beach with a guitar, but the sound was unmistakable. Pushing her sunglasses away from her eyes she squinted back towards the flat area of land people could park their cars. Sure enough, sat stop a flashy car she could see a guy playing a guitar and singing. "That's strange," she muttered to herself, not recognising him, but before she could dwell much longer, Tyler tugger at her foot, almost unbalancing her.

William kept singing and playing, only stopping to think about the next music he would play. The instrument almost made part of him, from a young age his mother decided her sons should be perfect gentlemen, and so, she put them in every sort of after school specials, from violin to dance lessons, languages, singing classes, everything they had time for, one of those was the guitar, she had given him the choice to any instrument he wanted, and that was the one he chose. Today, playing it just came naturally, he found himself playing without any mistakes.
Ending another song, Will leaned forward to grab a beer from the front seat, looking up, he spotted a young girl with a baby, from that distance he was unable to see clearly who she was and he didn't even bothered. After opening the bottle, he took it to his lips and drank some of the content, putting it down gently, he started another music, this one slightly faster than the one before, it was from the band Panic at the disco, his head leaned back, his eyes stuck on a cloud just above him.

It wasn't fair to say Twigg was an inattentive Mother, but she was barely an adult herself and everyone had their moments, the only problem was, if it happened to her when her son was about there could be disastrous consequences. These consequences usually weighed heavily on her mind and she rarely took her eyes of Tyler for a moment when she was alone, but since he'd been pestering her for the past five minute to have one of his much loved donuts, she had been rummaging around furiously in her bag trying to find the sweet snacks to keep him quiet for a few minutes. When she finally grasped the paper bag at the bottom, under everything else of course, just like it always was when you wanted something. Drawing them out she grinned and spoke "Aha little man," only to realise there was no one around to hear her.
Panic shot through her body as vividly as if she had been hooked up to the mains when a huge surge of electricity was busy passing through, she would have hardly been surprised if her blonde hair stood on end. Stomach clenching, eyes wide she got to her feet faster than she had thought possibly. Trying not to topple she rotated on the spot, eyes frantically searching the open area of sand. "Oh My God," she breathed, when she couldn't see him on first glance she was about to turn her eyes to the sea, and the heart wrenching possibility that he'd gone down to the waves when she saw a bobbing blonde head among the dunes and the tall grass.
With no thought to her belongings on the beach she bolted after the child, marveling silently at how far he'd managed to go. The only explanation she could reach was that he was heading for the sound of the music, as music usually marked the existence of either Mommy or Kennie. Still a way behind she saw the boy reach the carpark, wobbling slightly on the new surface and grabbing the wheel of the car that dwarfed him to keep from toppling. "Tyler," she shouted, her voice loud despite the singing man.

William was so drowned in his music that everything that was happening around him just passed unnoticed, he didn't even care what the people could be thinking of him, it wasn't usual for him to be like that, normally everything was about making other people think highly of him, but when he was playing he just didn't care.
A scream made him come back to reality, turning his head to where the voice came from, he noticed the same girl he saw before running in his direction without the baby. Looking around he didn't spot anything unusual, but a voice from the side of his car made him raise his eyebrows, putting the guitar on the seat he leaned forward to see the small boy with his hands on the tyre, smiling to him.
With a warm smile he picked the the boy up "Hey little fellow" he stated putting him on the seat next to him "Running from your mother are you?" he teased rubbing the top of his head. William wasn't great with kids, he almost never knew what to do with them and usually the response he had from them was screaming and crying, strangely enough, this one didn't seemed to react the same way.
Turning to see the mother of the baby he smiled "Don't worry, he's alright" he stated not wanting to scare the young girl, as she got closer he noticed she couldn't be much older than him, she looked like she was his age. Will didn't had anything against it, personally, he thought he was way too young to settle with a girl much more having a baby.

As she reached the carpark, she breathed deeply, finally allowing herself some time to calm down, Twigg had seen the guy pick up Tyler, and though usually she would have killed anyone who so much as touched him, she couldn't help be grateful. Finally breathing regularly again, she felt a heat rise in her face, no one except Kennie had seen her in such a panic, Twigg was the hard ass around here, took no shit from anyone and didn't let anything or anyone faze her, then again, most people didn't know her around the little boy.
The car was only a few steps from her now and she managed to force a smile onto her face, though it was still slightly shaky as the shock and worry refused to leave her. Though when she caught sight of Tyler sat in the back seat, grinning wildly and clapping his hands in a childish applause she felt some of it slip away, and an annoyance set in. "Don't you dare ever do that again Ty, or that's it for you and the donut's, I mean it this time," it seemed every day either her or Kennie threatened the boy with taking away his favourite thing, but neither of them had the heart to actually do it.
Raising her eyes finally, she tried another smile, this one stronger and looked at the man who had, in her eyes rescued her son. "Thanks mister," she began before realising the guy in the car was about her age, and definitely not a mister, actually he seemed vaguely familiar and kinda cute. Maybe he was another student. Realising she was staring, she blew a strand of blonde hair from her face and grinned, genuinely this time. "Thanks for that, you're a life saver," looking back at Tyler she realised for the first time he wasn't crying, which was strange, he never usually liked strangers, smiling once more she looked back at the guy. "I think you have a fan." As if he understood, Tyler began clapping his pudgy little hands again.

William grinned gently as the mother of the young boy got closer to them, she was breathing deeply, red, and trying hard to get herself together "Tyler is it?" he asked the baby, rhetorically obviously but with a large smile on his face "If I were you I wouldn't try emancipation ever again, If she takes the donuts from you, that's it, there's no point on going on with life" he teased, most probably she would find it much funny, but he was just playing around.
Will raised an eyebrow as she called him "Mister", did he looked that old? "No problem....Ma'm" he said the last word with more intensity rolling his eyes. He looked back to Tyler with a grin "This is the woman you were running from? She doesn't seem that bad" he was talking to him like he was indeed able to reply.
He looked back to the mother as she stared at him for some seconds and then thanked him once again "Please, It's no problem at all, I think my heart would fall also If my son disappeared like that...If I had one that is." he stated with a wink "Yes, I guess I have." he replied when she said he had a fan "Probably the first and only one" he added "I'm William" he introduced himself extending his hand to the girl.

Tyler laughed and gurgled in the seat as if he'd been on the best adventure in the world, it was safe to say the little boy was under the same illusion that he could talk as the older one that spoke to him. Nodding enthusiastically in a undeniably comical way, he turned and stuck his tongue out at Twigg which drew a mocking horrified gasp from her. "Well," she exclaimed, still mimicking horror, "it's a good job you've got your new protector or I'd take more than donut's away from you young man," Finally dissolving into one of her dazzling smiles, that were, as always when she was around Tyler, full of love and admiration, she looked up at the man.
At the 'm'am' she gave a short laugh, the relief from finding Tyler had made her slightly giddy and light headed, she knew the mood, for the next few minutes she would be easily amused and easily excited, almost as bad as her little son probably. As the boy continued to speak to Tyler as if he could reply, she kept the smile on her face, watching them in a definitely motherly way before shaking the look from her face. It was just nice to see the boy interacting with someone other than Kennie and Frank or the babysitter, it made her wish that his Dad knew he even existed.
When the man turned her attention back to her she gave him another warm smile. Most people didn't immediately assume that Tyler was her son, they usually thought he was her brother or neice or nephew, she'd even been asked if she was babysitting before, but Mother was never the first assumption. "What makes you think he's mine?" Though she teased she was genuinely interested, single mothers like herself weren't exactly common in White Hill. Reaching out she took his offered hand, "Twigg," she never even saw the name as weird anymore, after all it had been with her since she was little.

William laughed gently as she said Tyler had his new protector, It was strange how well he was getting along with the boy, it was so far from normal he couldn't believe it was happening. "What makes me think he's yours? He has his mother good looks" he stated simply winking to the kid "Besides, the way you reacted when he disappeared, It could be seen in your eyes he meant way more to you than your own life" he added with a warm smile as he turned to her "I'm sorry If I offended you, I didn't meant to sound impolite with that" he said trying to excuse himself, he didn't thought she was old, he just said what he thought and with luck he was right.
"It's a pleasure "Twigg"" he stated rather confused but smiling "I guess your name should be Leaf then" he teased, talking to Tyler "Do you go to White hill?" he asked while playing with the young boy.

Usually Twigg would not have let any one other than Kennie between her and her son, the world was a dangerous place after all and she was under no illusion that her and Tyler were invulnerable to these problems, but today she was content to stand idly beside the car, her son was in sight and having more fun than he had had in a while, well without the presence of donuts anyway. As Will tried to explain herself she felt a twinge of guilt, she wasn’t upset he had spotted her as the boys mother nor was she embarrassed or ashamed of being so young and well... alone and she definitely hadn’t meant him to feel awkward or in the wrong for assuming the truth. “You didn’t offend me at all, it’s just most people around here find the idea of a young single Mom impossible,” a grin appeared on her face at the compliment. “Hey Tyler it looks as if he’s as fond of you as you are of him,” flashing the man a wink she ran a hand through her blue and blonde hair, revealing a darker section underneath.
“The pleasure’s all mine William,” for once she meant every word of the formality, had he not been here Tyler may not have been so easy to find, or even worse, he could have been some weird who got his kicks out of abducting little kids. Nodding at his next question she gae another warm smile, “Yep, and I’m guessing from that guitar in your hand that you’re a fellow music student,” the initial plan that day had been for Twigg to bring her guitar to the beach and practice for a few hours, away from it all, but Jamie had been busy and the babysitter unavailable, so here they were, her and Tyler, making a day of it.
It was nice to see Tyler playing with the older boy, other than Frank Tyler had almost no male influences in his life, he barely saw his Grandfather back in England, Twigg had no brother, and well... his Father was another subject all together. Not that he was a deadbeat or anything, Twigg had just panicked and... neglected to tell him about the existence of his son.

It was amazing how William for once, stopped thinking about himself and made Tyler the most important thing at that moment, he felt like he knew the baby for a long time and that they had been friends ever since he was born. A smile never left Will's lips, even knowing that most probably that would be the last time he would see the boy. "Well, I have to say even I find it strange for you to be a mother at such a young age, I can't deny that, but if you're happy with that, why not?Besides, you have one thing they don't, Tyler" he stated simply without looking to the girl as he talked, William had picked up the guitar and putted on the boy's lap, trying the best way to make it possible for him to play, the instrument was a way too big for him.
Grinning gently he looked to Twigg "Indeed, but I don't think I'll be having one of these so soon" William wasn't thinking of settling with a girl even more having a baby. He was enjoying as much as he could these years, there would be time to create a family, not just yet. "Yes Indeed, I'm in my second year" he replied with a smirk "Jump in " he added to her pulling Tyler closer to him to give space to his mother to enter the car and sit next to him "Hope you don't mind but, can I ask where's Tyler father?" the boy was hitting the guitar with his small hands opened and pulling strings at the same time, it made Will laugh, most guitar players would freak out if they saw someone do that to their Gibson, but he would grab another one from his wall in his loft, yes, he had at least 4 acoustics and 3 electric guitars, why?Because he could.

Listening to him intently she nodded every once in a while and gave a warm smile as he said how lucky she was to have Tyler, that was true, she wasn't sure what her life would be like without him, but it would probably include her passing out in a gutter an awful lot more than she would have liked. Watching as Tyler attempted to try and grip the over large guitar she gave a small laugh, "He has his own back home," she stated in amusement, both Tyler and Kennie had always made sure to bring him up with music all around him, not that he could escape it living in the house with the two girls who were both magicians. As soon as he had been able to grip properly Twigg had been trying to teach him guitar, so far he was enthusiastic but not progressing overly well "He'll be a regular little Springsteen by the time he's 11."
"That's exactly what I thought," she half murmed quietly as he told her about his plans to wait for while to have a child. Of course this hadn't been the course she had chosen, but fate had had other ideas. Smiling again she heard him offer her a place beside them and scooting Tyler up. "Thanks," as she climbed in beside the little boy she adjusted her shorts, suddenly aware that she'd left her top back on the sand, oh well it was too late now, thankfully Cape Cod wasn't a thief harboring kind of place. "Me too, you don't strike me as the typical kind of music student though," it was true, most of the students were typical 'rocker' types who poured their life and soul into their music.
Settling herself she looked up again at the question about Tyler's father. Stumped for a second she stayed silent, uncertainty evident on her face. "Er.. he's... away," she finally managed, it was a huge embarrassment to Twigg the way she'd dealt with Miller, and she was ashamed of it every day. Hopefully the boy would just think the guy was a deadbeat and had left her and Tyler alone.

Will grinned gently as she stated that he didn't look like the typical music student, It was true, not only in the way he dressed but also in the way of thinking, being there, in White Hill, was more of a place for him to run from his life in LA, at least for the time being, this way he was doing what he liked and at the same time he didn't had to live in that cold environment his parents called home. "Yes, let's say I have a more classy fashion tendencies than others" he stated with a wink to her "I don't have to look like a rock star to do well in music, If I have what it takes, than that is by my own merit, besides, I don't like to be compared to the other students" laughing softly he tried to adjust Tyler's hand on the strings.
Smiling warmly Will looked directly to Twigg's eyes as she replied to his answer about the boy's father, with no doubt something strange was going on there, but he didn't want to sound impolite, it was just a random question with no explaining necessary, they had just met 15 minutes ago so there was no need for her to give any kind of deep answer, "away" was good enough "Hmm..ok" he stated simply with no idea of what to say to that response. "How old is the little Steve Vai over here?" he asked laughing along with the kid as he looked to him and gave a large teethless smile.

Usually Twigg appreciated the way the guys in the music department dressed, it wasn't hard from looking at her to guess that she was the kind of girl who liked piercings on her guys and an abundant amount of flesh covered in ink. Though that definitely didn't mean she wouldn't take guys without, hell if they were good looking they were her type. It had gotten to the point that Twigg didn't mind joking about her promiscuity, she wasn't ashamed about it, if she wanted a guy she'd get one, but she hadn't met one worth jeopardizing Tyler's childhood for yet so she got her kicks in other ways. Now Will was definitely one of the kind of people she would allow to be an exception. "Well you do a good job of standing out, I must say," it was strange how the tone of her voice could turn so quickly, from perfectly friendly to something more, something hinting at seductive and flirty.
Ever since she had mentioned Tyler's father she knew he didn't believe her, it had been another reason for the change in her demeanor, to try and distract him, that and she realised he was cuter than she had first thought and not a total jerk. Looking over at Tyler who was still wiggling enormously, chubby fingers trying to pluck at the strings dangerously as he tried to play something that resembled a tune, breaking into a grin she went back to proud mother mode. "He just turned one didn't guy, Ty?" As if he understood her, the little boy gargled rather loudly, large blue eyes batting irresistibly.

"Yes, I know" he stated about her comment of him doing a good job standing out. From the very first day Will never had any problem getting attentions, he had anything and anyone he wanted with a snap of his fingers, just like at home. Obviously most of the people that wanted to be near him was to see if they were able to get some of the fame he had, but that never bothered him one bit, he never trusted anyone besides his brother and hardly would he trust so soon, he had himself and that was what counted, if he wasn't able to deal with his own problems, who would? "I never had any complains" he added with a grin.
"One?Great" he said simply with a smirk to the boy, looking at him almost gave him the desire of wanting one as well, but let's face it, that wasn't like any other thing he owned, that couldn't be bought and if he treated a baby like he did everything else, most likely it would live long. "It must be a tough job to be a mother and a student at the same time I presume"
