When she took her hand back from him, he felt a little taken aback, but he shook his head. He didn't think she meant anything by it. Hearing her comment, he remarked. "Hopefully, sooner rather than later." He flirted slightly, smiling at her. He took another slight sip of his Coke and looked again at her. He laughed as she popped her knuckles. "Dude, you're gonna get like arthritis real bad." He chuckled.

She said nodding her head softly flexing one of her hands gently once she was finished. She didn't care. Popping her knuckles helped release the discomfort when her hands hurt, which they did often when she was playing.

She let out a sweet laugh shaking her head and rolling her eyes at him. "Getting a little ahead of yourself there, now aren't you?" She asked teasingly as she crumpled up her bag of chips and put it in her lunch sack.
Her head turned back to him when he took her hand again. She felt the blush return to her face and hoped it wasn't all that noticeable. She reached her free hand up and brushed back a lock of her black hair behind an ear beforeturning her head back to her food.
