It was another typical friday night for Twigg. After leaving Tyler at home with the babysitter and, even though she'd told him she wouldn't, a box of his favourite donut's, she had headed straight over here. Kennie was expected in around fifteen minutes, so, being early, Twigg pushed through the crowds of people around the stage area and made her way to the bar. So far she hadn't been told if she would be playing or not, there were 3 bands lined up for tonight which would be enough, she just hoped, as the back-up, that none would drop out. Ordering a JD and Coke she waited patiently, perched on her usual spot at the long wooden bar. The place was full as always, with a whole host of people. It was one of the things she loved about The Pits, you never knew who you'd meet.
After an entire week of working and looking after Ty, she was feeling about ready for a deserved night out, and she was glad to be out of the usual work jeans that she wore through-out the week. Dressed in a short strapless white cream dress with a colorful motif on the front she was still rather dressed down, but the effect she created with her painted on eyes, piercings, colorful hair and striking features she was not easily ignored, especially when her long pale legs were only covered to around mid thigh. When her drink arrived she thanked the waiter and took a mouthful, enjoying the strong woody taste that filled her mouth.

Most would ask what on earth a blind chick was doing out somewhere like the Fire Pit, but blind people had to have a little fun too. She may have not been able to see, but that didn't mean she couldn't dance and have a little fun, and when she wasn't in the mood to dance she would just sit up at the bar and enjoy the music, as she was now, sipping on her coke she had ordered earlier. She didn't really drink. She was a year under the age limit anyways so she didn't really care about drinking all that much.
She actually enjoyed dancing a lot, but she hated it when the guy ditched her and left her out on the dancefloor, which wasn't easy to navigate through blind. She would just shrug it off and have a little drink at the bar listening to the music. She bobed and swayed her head gently as she listened to the current music. She had her hair srunched into messy curls, which was easy enough, just take the gel in your hand and tangel it up in your hair she didn't have make-up on though. She would have been a nightmare if she had attempted that on her own. She had on a black skirt that stopped just a little above her knees. Not too short to be called skimpy really, and then she had on sky blue halter top with white and lighter blue polk-a-dots on it and a pair of boots that stopped just about mid-calf. Of course her sunglasses rested over her eyes and her collaspable can was hanging off her wrist collapsed into the wodden handle.
That was her usual attire really. Good for a night out, but not uncomfortable. She wore the sunglasses because people kind of felt freaked out when they saw her just kind of staring off at them, or so it seemed when really she couldn't see anything.

The place was slowly filling up before her eyes, people began milling around her, well as close as they dared without banging her, and there was a definite crowd of people swaying slightly to the music over on the dance floor. The view made for a good distraction from waiting on her own at the bar, damn that Kennie. Twirling the straw around her glass idly, she watched as couple upon couple descended the dancefloor, and though she rolled her eyes and made a face it reminded her undeniably of both her and Wyatt and her and Trey. The only two guys in her life worth dwelling over when they weren't here. Fighting back the sigh that threatened to push through her pursed lips she shook her head, resigned to the fact that she would never be able to relax with a guy as much as the people here, there was always Tyler not far from her mind and the effects of her actions constantly.
As a dark haired girl took a seat at the bar she looked up in mild curiosity as she always did when someone new appeared in her proximity. The dark, hiding sunglasses sparked a memory inside her but it wasn't until she saw the collapsable cane tied to the girls waist that recognition set in. It must be that Lynne girl, Kennie's blind friend. When Twigg had found out bout the girls problem she had felt slightly uncomfortable around her, it was just another thing that scared her about Tyler's future life, and though she knew she could stay there unnoticed and not have to make conversation, she did anyway. "Hey, Lynne isn't it? I'm Twigg..." remembering she probably hadn't introduced herself last time she added. "Kennie's friend."

She was content for now with just sitting here sipping on her coke. She just needed to get out of her apartment for the night. It tended to get lonely in that apartment all by herself. Her head turned in the direction of Twigg's voice. "Yeah." She said nodding her head as she quickly searched her mind for some kind of recognition. It kind of came though when she said she was a friend of Kennie. "Oh, that's right. Kennie told me about you a few times before the party at the camp grounds." She said smiling warmly when she remembered what little she had said to her at the campground.
She had felt like Lynn's disability had kind of thrown Twigg off for a few moments, and they didn't really carry anymore conversation on at the party. It didn't bother Lynn though. She was used to it by now, and she knew it took people a little time to get over the register of surprise whenever they learned of her condition. "You're in the music department at White Hill, right?" She asked gently as she turned a little in her seat towards Twigg and set her glass down on the counter, careful as to where the edge was.
