Giselle walked out towards the beach slowly, crossing her arms over her chest. She had been unable to sleep, the reoccurring nightmares made sure of that. Sighing lightly to herself, she bent down and rolled up her sweatpants a little. She then sat down a ways away from the water and then brought her knees up to her chest. She then wrapped her arms around them and rested her chin on her knees, letting the cold water hit splash gently against her feet.
It was still early in the morning, and the sun was just now making an appearance over the horizon though you could still make out the moon. And it was cold out but Giselle ignored that and she just sat there staring out at the sea thinking things over. A sudden breeze went through and the brunette shivered slightly. But she still stayed put where she was. Her gaze fell upon a couple sitting further down the shore. Talking and they seemed like they were in love. Giselle had to look away, ugh why did she have to be such a girl about things? Her gaze returned to the waves as they splashed against the shore and rolled back into bay. This was her favorite time to be at the beach, it was much more calm and relaxing than during the hustle and bustle of the day.

It was early, typically far too early for Wyatt Astley to be awake, but he was. He'd had maybe two or three hours sleep, but he couldn't get any more. He'd known as soon as he'd woken up prematurely that there was no way he could sleep. He noticed the sky was lightening in anticipation of the sunrise, so Wyatt jumped in the shower and headed to the beach making it just in time for first light. There was nothing like a sunrise at the beach in Cape Cod...except maybe the sunsets, but still it was an amazing sight.
Wyatt walked along the beach aways passing a few couples here and there before he finally came upon on a solitary figure, a lonely girl sitting alone watching the sunset. It was really kinda sad that such a cliche couples moment would have to be spent alone, and by such a pretty girl to boot. Of course Wyatt would exactly consider himself "on the market" at the moment, but that didn't mean he couldn't grant the girl some company did it?
"You look like you could use some company," Wyatt stated collapsing as gently as he could into the sand beside the girl, keeping what he considered a comfortable amount of space between them, but he could reach out and touch her if he so desired, though that was a sure way to get off to a bad start. "I'm Wyatt Astley," he said smiling as he offered his hand after the introduction. Wyatt always seemed to get more out going around girls when he was already taken (which he technically wasn't at the moment) which obviously created a bit of a problem.
The logic was though that since he already had a girl no other should seem appealing enough for him to kiss them...or do anything else with them, that would make them more than just a friend. If he could cheat on a girl then he generally didn't see why he shouldn't...well he knew why he shouldn't, but he also knew he would give in to temptation sooner or later, so better make it sooner and allow his poor girlfriend to move on than make her suffer through months of him lusting after other girls but resisting.

It was almost like looking at a painting as Giselle observed the vibrant colors that the sun reflected against the gentle waves. A soft smile found it's way to her lips as she marveled at the sheer beauty. Her mind was so far away from anything else around her that she hadn't even noticed the figure walking towards her and taking a seat beside her until she heard a voice. The brunette jumped back slightly, startled by the sudden disturbance.
An eyebrow quirked slightly as she observed the man who seemed to think he was doing her a favor by sitting with her. "I was actually doing pretty good by myself." Honestly, she was feeling rather lonely, but she wasn't going to just go blurting something out to this guy. 'Wyatt Astley' The name repeated in her head. "Giselle Malone.." He was attractive, that was something she had to admit, but there were many attractive men in the world that used that advantage against girls.
[OOC: I'm sorry this is so blah, my mind's been in a sort of blur since yesterday.]

"Nice to meet you Giselle...that's a nice name by the way," Wyatt said sure to pay a compliment to the girl and hopefully soften her edges a bit. And it wasn't untrue Wyatt happened to think Giselle was a rather pretty name, but he'd held off on using the word pretty as Giselle did not seem to be enjoying his company as much as he'd intended.
"I didn't mean to disturb you...I'm the one who was really in need of company," Wyatt added again trying to be careful about what he said. He'd admitted his mistake, but had not offered to leave on the off chance the girl would accept it as an invitation. She may have said she was fine on her own, but nobody who watched the sunrise alone was without a few problems at least.
He must have just been to forward. It did tend to happen when Wyatt dropped his what little timidness was usually in him he could come off a bit strong, but he honestly only saw a pretty girl in need of help and was here to be of service in anyway that he could. And Wyatt was just now beginning to notice how pretty the girl sitting beside him was. No doubt she was hit on a lot and saw him as nothing more than a pig due to his forward approach and good looks. Maybe if he showed her he was deeper than that he stood a chance at actually helping her.

A small smile crossed her lips as he complimented her name. She had always liked her name herself, while most other girls shared common names like 'Samantha' or 'Nicole' she was always the only one she knew with that name. "Thanks.." She replied quietly, the smile dissappearing from her face.
Listening to his explanation, Giselle turned her head and looked at him. So maybe this guy wasn't too horrible, but she wasn't going to let her guard down. And it was true. Giselle wasn't without any problems, if she was she definately wouldn't be out here right now, but she wasn't going to pour her heart out to some guy who just decided upon himself to sit beside her. "I'm sure you already have plenty of women to seek company with." She quirked a brow at Wyatt. Sure she was being slightly bitchy, but with the luck she had had with males in the past she wasn't going to take a chance. This guy would have to prove his intentions were pure before she would let her guard down.

"Welcome," Wyatt smiled said barely audible. he always said it out of habit, but it always felt weird so he tried to make it as soft as possible. It was just a weird little thing he really couldn't quite control. He just thought that thank you should always be reciprocated in some way.
"I suppose I can't really say that's entirely false, but at the moment I would really like to keep company with you. It's not often I find someone alone at sunrise and I'd be willing say the sun would be up before I found another girl I'd be willing to spend time with and I would have missed all the beauty I came to enjoy," Wyatt explained still working the charm angle a little, but it was still coming of a little too much of a hitting on the girl vibe and that was not going to get him anywhere. "Besides I more or less have a girlfriend and...not to flatter myself, but most other girls I could seek company with would probably want to spend less time just talking and more time doing some other things I'd prefer not to do," he added hoping maybe this would help his case.
"Hopefully that doesn't offend you, i mean you are a beautiful girl, but I was honestly just looking to just share a little conversation as the sun rose, maybe help you start off the day by making a new friend instead of all sad and alone...I don't exactly expect you to just pour out your soul to some guy who just comes and sits next to you, but I promise whatever you tell me would be kept secret, and I can talk about myself first if it makes you feel better...of course you'd have to make the same promise of confidence," Wyatt said laying all the cards out on the table. It was a little odd to be that totally honest, but he just didn't want to lie. For one thing it was too early and for another he hated lying. He felt deceitful enough over the whole thing with taking it slow with Kennie...which he was still sure was a good idea, but the fact that he never mentioned it was partially to do with Twigg was still bothering him.
