Spotting Twigg relief flooded Trey, he'd found her. It made him feel less idiotic for looking for her. He'd seen people look for someone else and never find them, making them look like they were completely insane. Walking towards Twigg, a beer in his hand, he watched her kiss another girl and toss her marshmallows, who didn't find that sort of thing attractive at a party? He wasnt' going to complain, after all, when you're drinking and there are people, kissing is just sort of an liable part of the mixture.
"Twigg!" He yelled out, knowing full well she'd recognize him when she saw him. Their chemistry was unmistakeable and though they'd only hung out once, he felt more drawn to her then he had even to Courtney. That was saying something, that girl had him in the palm of her hand when they dated. Taking a swigg of his beer he approached the girls and laughed. "Where's your tent?" He asked them, knowing why they didn't have one. That's why girls generally didn't bring their own, saved themselves some work.

Taking a deep breath she stared into the fire that crackled before her, there was only a few feet between the flames and her now , but she was in the perfect place to feel the heat caress her body, contrasting with the chill that hit her bare back, maybe the corset hadn't been a good idea? Especially without a jacket. Kennie had brought their coats on earlier, but so far it wasn't cold enough to put on her winter coat, besides soon the beer would kick in and heat her blood stream. As if to do it instantly she raised the bottle to her lips and took a large mouthful, polishing off her third bottle easily and reaching for another from the crate at her feet. It was a good job they came prepared.
Hearing a voice call her name she puzzled over it for a few moments wondering who it could be. Turning to follow the sound her eyes met those of one of the people she had to admit was not one she expected. Nevertheless the sight of him made her break out into a smile she couldn't quite explain. "Hey Trey, fancy seeing you here," stepping forward she planted a lingering kiss on his cheek before returning to her position and looking down at Kennie. No doubt the girl would think this was the boy she had spoken of. At the tent remark she grinned. "Unfortunately we seem to have forgotten our tent? Terribly careless of us," it was obvious he knew very well what had happened and that they expected to find somewhere else to lay their head.

Watching her friend kiss a stranger's cheek Kennie couldn't help but look away. Though she was used to seeing Twigg in action...the way he'd looked at her when she'd done it was so ridiculously intimate it made Kennie feel as if she were intruding on something. Sipping at her beer once more she felt her friend sit down, talking about their tent troubles. Hanging her head down lowly, she laughed, making it difficult to spit between her legs, something she was attempting to do at the time.
"Whose this Twigg?" She asked casually, sure it wasn't the guy who was making her friend think. After all...Kennie was sure that Twigg would've somehow given off more than just a smile and kiss to the cheek was it the other one. But what Kennie did see between this...Trey guy and her best friend...was somethig rare and odd and extremely exciting to Kennie, though it broke her heart that her friend seemed not to see it.

A strange choking laugh from her side made her turn her ahead and give her best friend a half curious, half amused look as she saw the strange position she had gotten herself into. "What on earth are you doing Kennie?" Recently Twigg had noticed her English dialect coming back into play more, which was strange, as if she was subconsciously trying to remind herself of where she was from. Patting Kennie on the back she grinned, the girl really did know how to get herself into strange predicaments. Realising she hadn't introduced them she grinned sheepishly. "Oh sorry, Kennie this is Trey, Trey, Kennie," pointed at each of them in turn she smiled again, more comfortably this time. "Trey works at Greasers," she finished, as if it was necessary for Kennie to know.

Looking at the girl Twigg introduced him to Trey remembered her. It was a girl who was frequently in Greasers, often with an old friend of his, Frank. His sister probably, he'd heard plenty about her from him to say the least.Nodding at her he smiled sweetly before lookingat Twigg once more. From what he gathered the two were great friends, but that was only by the way Kennie inspected him with her eyes, as if making sure he wasn't going to do anything stupid. "Nice to meet you." He said to Kennie, even though his eyes were fixated on Twigg. "Well shit...I imagine there's room in our tent." He said slowly, knowing full well what their game was, making it blatantly obvious as he spoke as well.

There was an undeniable tension between the three of them, but she was trying to brush past it, not entirely sure of why it hung in the air like an invisible cobweb. Maybe the two knew each other from some past encounter? After all, Kennie was regularly in Greasers with Frank, or even just on her own. The sudden thought that Trey may know Frank bothered her more than she would have imagined and she shot Kennie a glance as if the girl could tell her such. They both seemed polite anyway and pleasant enough when she had introduced them.
At the offer she couldn't help but find herself smile, though she was painfully aware that she had just been telling Kennie how much she liked Wyatt and now here she was with some other guy, Kennie had never met, being invited into his tent, hell she was about to accept. Of course her best friend knew what she was like, but she still felt a little guilt inside her as she looked between them. "Erm.." tyring to think of a way out she smiled again "Hey Trey, why don't we take a walk leave these guys in peace?"
(We could make a side thread in the campsite if you want so other people can carry on here)

Stretching her hand out Kennie gave her friend a squeeze on the arm before she left. A warning that she was watching out for her no matter what was going on. Which turned out to be a real talent the two of them had, no matter how smashed they were the two of them could pull off taking each other flawlessly. It was a system, after three years of working it...they were near perfection with it.
Roasting her third marshmallow Kennie began searching for the graham crackers and chocolate that were lying around her somewhere. With a satisfactory smack of her lips she found them and began her work at making smores, another god given talent she had. Something she attributed to living on the Cape her whole life actually, but who really needed to know that.

William watched as everything happened around him, at least with the girls and the guy that seemed be working in Greasers or something like that, he honestly didn't pay much attention to what they were saying. Turning to lynn he grinned and brought his whiskey glass to his lips one more time, alcohol was a good friend of his, he drank almost everyday, but as he saw it, he was far from having a problem. It was only a glass or two each day, just to relax in front of his fireplace, having some of the best drinks in the world he was very tempted.
"Don't worry about that" he replied to the girl, watching as the flames danced in front of him "I'm here to help, well, not exactly, but you know what I mean" he stated laughing gently of his own words "But, tell me some more about you, now that destiny brought us together, we at least should give it the satisfaction of a conversation" he added with a charming smile.

She let out a soft laugh and rolled her eyes before she took a swig of her beer. She closed her eyes and listened to the sounds of the party. She then turned her head and fluttered her eyes open with an unseeing gaze on him. "I can just imagine a charmingly flirtatious grin on your face right now." She said smiling gently before she turned her head back to the fire in thought enjoying the warmth that it spread on her.
"Well, I play guitar and piano, and I sing, so obviously I'm in the music department at White Hill." She said gently nodding her head as she tried to think of other things. She listened to the popping noise of the fire a she took another deep gulp of beer finishing off the bottle. "I haven't been to a real party like this in... four... years." She said thoughtfully. She frowned though and turned her head towards him. "I'll be quite honest with you. My life hasn't been all that eventful since I lost my sight." She admited gently turning her head back to the fire as she gently ran a finger up and down the handle of her cane.

As lynn said she could imagine a flirtacious grin on his face, he laughed gently "Indeed, Its true, but what you can't imagine is how gorgeous it is" he added putting his hand on her leg and rubbing it gently for one second just to show he was kidding, well, not really, it was indeed gorgeous, but sill, he had to have at least some alturism in him.
"Really? I play guitar and sing too, but I'm sure not even close as good as you probably are" he stated not really believing music would be his future."Well, now that you met me, I'm sure your life will be much better" he looking at with a warm smile, just staring for some time, his body leaned forward supported by his elbows against his legs.

She chuckled and rolled her eyes gently turning her head back to the fire with a soft and warm smile. She had been told she had a such a pretty smile, but one of her friends had told her that the sparkle of happiness in her eyes wasn't there like it used to. Could you blame her though? "Someone's cocky, but you must remember, you can't rely on pretty looks with me ." She said teasingly as she felt his hand on her leg. She turned her head to her leg and his hands before turning her head up to him.
She smiled gently and nodded. "I'm more of pianist than guitarist though. I've been playing piano since I could pull myself up onto the bench." She said smiling gently turning her head back to the fire in thought. She actually had a picture in her apartment of her and her brother on the bench playing when she was about four. She may not have been able to see it, but she enjoyed the comments she got on it.
She laughed sweetly shaking her head before turning it back to him. "And what makes you so sure of that?" She asked playfully as her lips were graced with a rueful little smirk.
