It was never fair when Kennie was right just because she seemed to be right so much! "Fine. Our secret," Frank agreed, sucking the last drops of his beer from the bottle. "I just hope it stays a secret," he added with a playful grin. After a few moments of the sibling silence, Frank decided it would be great to be more talkative. "You should go to a club tonight," he suggested. "Meet a few guys. Hell, you could take half the place home if you dressed nice enough." Clearly enough, Kennie knew she was pretty, but she didn't like to acknowledge her beauty, unlike half the guys Frank's seen look at her.

Listening to the sibling silence, as Frank had referrred to it when they were younger, Kennie wondered why he couldn't be honest with Twigg and why she wouldn't do the same thing. It just blew her mind, though the sex tape thing might very well still be on both their minds. "It'll be our secret unless you're twentyfour before you do something about it." She smirked, giving him the knowledge by his birthday something would happen.
The club comment struck Kennie as funny. There was something odd about Kennie dressing up at all...especially to impress anyone. Beer and Pizza with a tv in front of her was about all she did with guys lately, unless they were talking cars. "Frankie...I don't do dating." She said simply, remembering the last few times she'd tried even in the most minute way.

Realizing that he was twenty three at the moment, Frank sighed. Kennie was so unfair at times. But he didn't want to lose his temper because Kennie was teasing him about his crushes. "I'm sure something will happen with me and Twigg sometime soon. Hell, we might even go clubbing with you," he said, referring to her whole "I don't date" comment. "I mean, it's not even a date. You drink, you dance with a few guys, you go home." It was only for Kennie tha Frank would ever go to a club. They sometimes had the same taste in men, so it could be like having a girl sit at the bar with her at times. But Frank didn't like going to clubs. They made him feel scared. Oh, he'd watched Law and Order. He knew about the people getting raped when they went clubbing...

Laughing at her brother Kennie ordered another Shirley Temple, something to bring her off the stale feel of the beer rolling around in her mouth. The evening rush was coming into the bar now and Kennie was feeling more and more at ease, which was hard to believe considering she was with the person who knew her best next to Twigg.
"Come on, you can't be so scared of rejection from her can you?" She asked him, tilting her face to the side. She was always there for her brother and she was always wondering some days what on earth he didnt' see in himself.
Realizing she hadn't told Frankie the most important thing about the week she sighed, twirling the straw in the drink that had just been set on her coaster. "Remember that guy I steady dated a couple summers ago?" She asked, sure her brother wouldn't have forgotten the only guy to capture his sister's heart.

Remember? Sure, sure. Frank's memory wasn't the best. He couldn't remember the boy's name, but he sure as hell remembered they way his sister looked at him. "Of course I do," he replied, nodding. Was this why she didn't date? Her heart was stuck on one guy. It was possible, very possible, and Frank felt it'd be good if she did date him. She didn't looked heartbroken by him, so Frank wouldn't have to murder him or anything, so he must be a good guy. "Are you dating him?" he asked curiously. "Because if you did, that'd be really cool. What if you MARRY him?" When it came to marriage, Frank acted like a child. He didn't want to settle down with anyone at the moment, just like a kid would. But he wanted to have someone to love him for the rest of his life. One night stands wouldn't complete that desire even if Frank was that kind of person. What if you marry him. Ha.

Her brother's expression held some sort of recognition which relieved Kennie. She would've had to smack her brother upside the head if he hadn't remember the only guy anyone could remember the Canstine girl steady dating. In some aspects she'd slept around and the like. But there was only one that she'd stuck with...only one that she'd allowed herself to honestly fall in love with. Smirking at him she laughed out loud, putting her hand to her mouth to prevent shirley temple all over her brother. Only he could make her do that with something this serious."Oh yes, we decided to go slow...so marriage is the first step and we'll digress." She teased, taking another drink after she'd finished wiping her nose and mouth of sticky drink.
Frank had always had a strange out look on marriage. Even when they were kids Kennie noticed that he didn't really like seeing their parents together if they weren't affectionate. She couldnt' very well blame him, their family hadn't exactly held the golden globe award for family...if anything they held it for idiocracy.

Feeling excitment rush into his veins, a million littles details for a wedding popped into his head. "Oh, Twigg should so be the maid of honour! Oh! I want to be the ring bearer! I know it's for little kids, but it just looks like so much fun, you know? What about a flower girl? Do you know, like, a-Oh, you were kidding." He sighed after he realized she had been sarcastic. "Okay, what about him?" he asked in a disappointed voice.

Kennie had long since covered her mouth to contain the extreme amounts of laughter that were eminating from her mouth. She could always leave it to Frank to be literal and make it funny. As she caught her breath and looke him straight in the eye she let out a few more fits of giggles before steadying herself against the bar. Patting him on the shoulder she raised a brow at him and took a much needed sip from her drink. "Thanks,I needed that." Winking at her breath Kennie brushed some hair from her face...reaching over to Frank she did the same thing.
The thing about being related to someone like Frank was that she was not only over protective but he was too. So they were always wanting to kick someone's ass at some point in time. "Well...we're not getting married...but he's back." She whispered, remembering how Frank had attempted taking her to a club shortly after, instead of dancing and letting out her frustration...she'd gotten so drunk Craig and Frank had to carry her home.

He was back? Well, maybe they'd get married now! "Are you going to throw him a party?" he asked. Who didn't love parties? "Or do you mean back in your life?" Why couldn't his sister just be all straight forward and never leave any guessing games to be done. Because Frank usually failed miserably at guessing games. He ran his fingers along the dirty bar. Back in her life, either way. He'd have to have a chat with this boy. Overprotective big brother, as always. Frank loved his job.

Raising a brow at Frank once more Kennie reached towards his beer, knowing full well she didn't need more she took a swig and handed it back to him, swallowing heartily. "Sometimes I worry about you. She said, chuckling lightly. He was atleast talented at making her smile. "Back in my life smart ass." She stated after a few moments thought.
Allowing one slender finger to trace the outline of her shirley temple glass Kennie wondered how her brother and her had honestly made it as far as they had. There was something to say for the two of them. Shaking her head for a moment she looked at Frank, her eyes studying his. Her little brother, was there anything she wouldn't do for him?

In the life. So he hadn't moved to France or anything and came back for a visit. No party for that, then. Darn. "Are you dating him again?" he asked, pushing his black hair out of his eyes and out of his way. Maybe the could get married now! Maybe he could be the ring bearer! "Do I need to find a good tuxedo rental place?" Frank smiled at his sister, honestly hoping that she'd get married. Unlikely, but still, he can wish, right?

Moving her body so she was facing him even more she leaned closer to the counter, squinting at her brother for a moment. "What is this sudden fascination with me getting married?" She asked him, her voice almosst patronizing but not quite there. After all, who could blame him, neither of them had seen functional relationships actually last in their life. But Kennie was one who wanted to watch her brother get married first before she took the plunge. "We're not 'official.'"She said slowly, putting her finger to her cheek, mock thinking. In spite of all the seriousnesss she tried to personify with Frank it rarely stuck around.

A laugh came out of Frank's lips. Why did she think he wanted her married? "Because," he began with a sigh, "I want to get married, but I also want to to get married first." It wasn't likely either of them would get married soon, but Frank didn't want to be fifty when he did, either. But Kennie was older. So she was supposed to get married first, right? Of course he was right. It only seemed fair to him. "Well, you two need to be offical," he said, crossing his arms seriously.

"You get married first Frankie." She stated, smirking his way. Her eyes lingered on the cigarette that he'd put out in the ashtray and withotu intention Kennie found herself reaching for it and pulling his lighter from his pocket, something she simply had the immediate right to do. "I can't help myself." She said with a sigh as she lit up and inhaled for a moment. Blowing away from his face she looked him straight in the same blue eyes that were so like hers."Why must we be official?" She asked in a mock whine.
