From what he could see Trey gathered that Twigg was having just as hard a time keeping her emotions in check as he was. Though the lust factor between the two of them was high...that was certainly not what he was looking for at the moment. Instead he figured he'd test the waters, see if she was really as brave as she seemed. Leaning in closer his nostrils were filled with her scent, his stomach fluttered ever so slightly, making him grip the counter from the strangeness of such a feeling.
Her curious expression amused Trey as he told her there would be no sex for the evening. In fact, it would've been priceless to get a picture of his expression as he thought it up whilst counting money. "What is your take on getting wet?" He asked her, not missing the sexual inuendo that he had made unintentionally. Begging his hands to say simply by her thighs rather than running up them he waited for an answer.
There was more to Twigg than met the eye, there was no doubting that. But inside Trey's head all he could think about was how he wanted to know her...the littlest things to the biggest ones. Inside and out...whatever she would share he'd remember.

As he gripped the counter she found herself watching his knuckles, seeing the white spread increasingly over his bones as he held on tightly. She found it fascinating at times, the effect she had on people, but then again he was making her feel exactly the same, and she knew very well she wasn't hiding it at all. Part of her wished he'd just lay her down right there and strip her, instead of his almost heart warming words of how he didn't just want to have sex with her. If she had been thinking she may have registered how strange it was that they had met less than half an hour ago and here they were, desperately keeping themselves in check so as not to jump each other right then and there.
As he watched her she returned his gaze patiently, though his answer wasn't what she expected and she could help but laugh at the hidden innuendo behind his words. Straightening her face she raised her eyebrow. "Wet? Well I love it, sir," she teased, wondering what he had in mind, still half hoping he had meant it in the way she knew they were both thinking.

It was becoming increasingly difficult not to kiss Twigg right then and there, ridiculously hard to stop himself from taking those lips and feeling the same electricity he'd felt before. How he'd lived in the Cape in the last three years and not seen her before was amazing to him...though maye he had. Half of his brain racked itself, trying to remember long lost incidents. The other half forming words to fit the answer he wanted to give. "I was thinking along the lines of .. late night surfing." He raised a brow, the cards on the table and the adventure in place.
It was almost like standing on a cliff, Trey decided about speaking to Twigg. She was ... one of those people, it seemed, who found sex as appealing as he did himself. It was new to him though, to realize that's not what he wanted from the girl right off. He wanted to test the waters with her, see if she was the girl he'd been looking for in every single girls' eyes since he was seventeen. Though who wasn't looking for that sort of thing if you thought about it. Pulling away he helped Twigg off the counter and handed her her purse.
Whether or not she chose to go with him was entirely up to her, but he'd made himself a difficult promise..this girl he couldn't sleep with yet. Not yet.

There were few people who lived in the Cape who weren't at least able to stand on a surf board, even those that lived on the mainland away from the beaches visited every other day and loved to play in the waves, trying to convince people they were serious about their hobby. Living on the edge of the water, Kennie had taught Twigg the first week she had arrived in the Cape, making sure she could last for at least ten minutes standing up before she even gave her a days break. It was surprising their friendship had even developed from there.
Thinking of those days helped keep her mind off of Trey, and the fact that he was still close enough for her to grab and kiss, to feel the feel of his lips on hers, even the thoughts now were drawing her eyes to his mouth and she bit her lip unconsciously as recent memories flooded her. In a rather breathy voice she finally answered "If you promise to pull me out when I drown, I'm all for it," normally she wouldn't have even entertained the thought but something about Trey made her feel, as cliche as it sounded, as if she could do anything. As he moved away and helped her down she felt the spell that had held them their motionless lessen, almost break, but she was sure she would never feel it disappear completely. Taking her purse she gave him a smile. "Any favourite spots?"

Her breathy voice made him shiver inside, not the way some people got goosebumps. This was different...he was getting them on the inside. Was that even humanly possible? He wasn't a doctor and couldn't entertain the thought for long as he watched her teeth tug at her perfect bottom lip. Sucking in a slow breath he waited for her answer, relief and some sort of excitement flooding him as she said she would go. "Sounds like a deal." He said, hoping that wouldn't have to happen. That'd definitly be a damper on any sort of relationship they could have.
"Just the ocean, no particular place." He said, grabbing his coat off the hook as they exited the bar, locking the door behind him, making sure the alarm was set and all the jazz that came with closing the grimey place. "Do you need anything from your place first?" He offered, it wasn't as if he wanted her to have to surf in her clothes. His stuff was already settled in a beach locker down there, something he'd invested in early on. He waited, shifting his stance, his eyes lingering on each and every part of her.

The reaction he gave seemed to thrill her as much as the actual action did him and she found it hard not to stare at him for longer than was polite, keeping her eyes averted as best she could she pulled her purse up onto her shoulder where it hung lightly off, swinging at the slightest movement so it captured her attention suitably to distract her from him. "A deal indeed," she countered, a hidden smile on her face as she looked the other way.
His reply made her laugh though. Where else would they go to surf when they were living in the beautiful Cape? She wasn't sure if it was humor or sincerity that had made him say it so she didn't comment and instead walked around to the door to wait for him, her body finally back under her control and working normal, no tingles, no extra heat. She was back to normal, back on top. Shaking her head she looked back at him for the first time in a few minutes to find him watching her. "No, I'll be fine," she'd have to surf in her underwear, if she went home Tyler would wake up and wouldn't let her leave, plus there'd be Kennie to explain to. Walking to the door she waited for him patiently, a smile on her face.

As he walked with her towards his motorcycle he realized she may be uncomfortable. Alas, there was nothing he could do but hand her the helmet and pull out the pedals, all the while warning her that she'd want to hold on to her purse, but that was probably something that was blatantly obvious.
Sitting on the bike he waited for her to hop on, his brain on overdrive. This was all pretty new for trey and he was wondering what on earth he was going to do about it.

She hadn't penned him for the type of guy who rode a motorcycle but she couldn't say it was a disappointment, he was becoming more like her type each minute, and tattoos and piercings could be added later, not that she would ever dream of altering someone to her will. She knew how much she'd hate it if someone did it to her. Taking the helmet she raised an eyebrow at him but didn't say a word, it wasn't necessary. Waiting for him to sit down she straddled the bike and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist, waiting for the roar of the engine beneath her.

Starting the engine, her arms around his waist tightly, he took off towards the beach. The journey wasn't long and he soon slowed the bike to a stop and turned it off in ironically the same parking lot he'd taken Haley the day they'd made their agreement. Watching Twigg dismount his bike after him he realized that if something were to happen with Twigg he'd call off the agreement immediatly, no hesitation. That thought made him shiver once more.
"My locker is over there." He said, pointing to the darkness where a building resided in the sand, heading towards it. As luck would have it he had two boards that day, one being for whenever someone wanted to surf, an occasion such as this. "Which one do you want?" He asked her, opening the large door that guarded the boards. One was white, green swirls dominating it though there was blue and black. Followed by a black and yellow one with decals all over it.

The familiar landscape of the Cape whizzed by her in one great blur until she wasn't even sure where they were going, though one thing was for certain, she didn't care. It wasn't like Twigg to just trust someone she's just met, especially a guy, but here she was just content to let him lead her. Flipping her hair back, she kept her vision free, her grip still tight until she felt the wind lessen and their speed drop. When they came to a halt she recognised the area and reached up to take the helmet off before letting him go and stepping off the bike.
Following his finger she saw the vague outline of a group of lockers and flashed him a smile, following him until he presented the surfboards. Pointing with her hand she laughed "That black one please," It would be harder to surf with an invisible board, but she didn't mind. Waiting for him she reached up and pulled the hem of her dress up over her head in one quick smooth motion, leaving her in her matching leopard print bra and boxers. Her teeth shone bright in the darkness as she grinned at him, waiting once more.
