{Hater of Frills}
<< It was so unfortunate for poor Amanda, that she had worn her favorite clothes the day she arrived, because although she had packed her suitcase with every piece she wanted, when the blonde opened it, it was stuffed with very expensive t-shirts, blouses, and of course, a lot of dresses. Today, she decided to wear one of the dresses, for now, since nobody in this general area had the kind of clothes she wanted. So, for now, she wore a green dress with thin straps, and it was a bit above her knees, so it wasn't too tacky, but still. Amanda HATED dresses. The girl decided to go sulk in a corner of the student lounge, fixing her make-up, making sure that at least was mostly black, except her lips which were pink, and her eye shadow which was gray to go with her eyes. The blonde stared at the other students, all gaily and happy because they all knew one another, they all had friends. And that annoyed Amanda because she was new, and didn't understand anything much of the academy and its' students.
>> Amanda sat near a window, her face somewhat depressed looking, and unfriendly as well, until she remembered that she had managed to bring her ipod with her. Putting the headphones in her ears, she kept the music toned down, so that if anyone decided to talk to her, she could still hear, although for the moment she was humming brightly. The 18 year old was pretty anti-social, so most of the time, when she made friends, they approached her, not the other way around, although she wished that were different. Amanda just didn't have the confidence to go up to people she didn't know, which was a shame, because if she did, she'd likely have many more friends. Sitting there, the blonde sipped at her Jamba Juice, feeling decently satisfied, even without anyone to talk to.
