Dropping another CD into its proper place, she hummed to the song that played through out the small record shop. It was just another day at the store, early morning, extending her hands she flicked through the next small little group marked G, flipping through the familiar bands until she found the place to slip in the Gallows Album that she had borrowed for the CD player the previous day. Pushing the pile back up she stepped back and looked down into the box in her hand, it was almost half empty now, not too many to go.
Behind her she heard the bell signaling the door had opened, but she didn't turn to look or assist them, the system was pretty simple, if they needed her all they had to do was yell. Hitching the cardboard box up further she moved onto the screamo section, idly grabbing a new CD for the playlist as she passed, intent on slipping it into the player to make her day fun more smoothly.
Reaching her desk she rested the box on the top of it and disappeared back behind the back for a moment, slipping the new disc into the hungry mouth of the player before returning and finally looking up in mild curiosity to see who'd entered her domain.

Emma been pittling around all day, doing nothing except watching a bit of television or coloring. She hadn't been in town much, since she had arrived and thought it would be nice to visit somewhere other than the beach and her room.
She worn a pair of faded skinny jeans that stuck firmly to her legs, a pair of pale yellow flats and a thin cute maternity- like shirt with pale yellow, pink and brown beads embroided into the material.
She looked around noticing a store in which a people where steadily going in and out. Emma smiled and walked over to it, opening the door and gasp stupidly at the ring of the bell, that she wasn't expecting.
"Cd's aye?" she asked no one in particular and began looking around. All types of music was held there. She wasn't there to buy or anything, just looking around. Emma reached the screamo section, and saw a girl putting a CD in a player. *What is she doing with that box full of Cd's?* Emma asked herself . She must be in some type of band or something. unless she is just bored all the time. Emma decided with a smile and looked looking down at the random CD that she had picked up.

When she had turned around to see who had entered she had expected to see maybe Kennie, or one of the guys, at least one of the usual customers who frequented the store almost daily, instead what she saw was the familiar was of one of Twigg's least favourite people. "Well if it isn't little Miss Prissy," she remarked, a cold smirk curling her lips. Twigg wasn't usually such a spiteful girl, but Emmaline just got right under her skin with her self richeous nature and holier than thou attitude, especially when it came to Twigg. After all what did it have to do with the girl if Twigg wanted to make the most of her youth and the precious time apart from her son.
Slender arms wrapped around the box, she hauled it back up, returning to her job, stopping where the brunette was stood crossing her path. "Do you mind? Some people have to actually work for a living," most people up at White Hill had their parents money behind them to support them, Twigg had no idea if Emma was the same, but she hadn't seen her working two jobs like she did, here and at the Pitts. Tossing her unique hair, she pursed her lips, eyes full of cold challenges as she waited for the acting student to move.

"Well if it isn't little Miss Prissy,"
Emma rolled her eyes and slung the Cd randomly on the shelf. She hated how Twigg acted, she should take can of herself while she was young, in stead and fucking every guy she had a slight feeling for, or just a guy who was sexy. Miss. Prissy, that didn't at all describe Emma, she just didn't want to care for a child are age 16; she planned that all that would have to take place afater she was married to Mr. Right.
"Do you mind? Some people have to actually work for a living,"
As Twigg pushed by her making her way to the oppistie side of Emma. Twigg had no clue what was going on in her life, she would actually have to find a job soon; to help pay of bill and stuff of that nature. Her Step-father and Mother would only do so much since John Emma blood father passed away.
"Twigg, why do you treat me the way you do, when I'm only trying to help you?" Emma asked. Twigg and Emma were very different after all. Twigg tried passing life on edge, while Emma tried staying in a direct path; a complete saint ... she hardly ever cussed come to think of it and was always there to help someone out, if they need help that is.

Twigg couldn't even help the obnoxious scoff that was torn from her lips at Emma's words. Dropping the heavy CD laden cardboard box onto the top of the nearest CD shelf she whirled on the spot, her lips twisted in a scornful smirk. "And why exactly do I need your help Emma?" What did the girl think she could 'save' Twigg, exorcise the demons inside her? The girl was living in the 1800's and had to realise things were done differently nowadays. She was perfectly happy with her life and the way it went, well except the amount of work she had to do anyway, so why would she want to change that?
Even if the girl hadn't been so intent on changing Twigg, the girls still wouldn't have got on, Twigg's friends were like her, hard drinkers, a little wild, sometimes promiscuous, but they all held down decent enough jobs and didn't get by off other people, making their own ways in lives and dealing with their own consequences. Waiting for an answer from the brunette she crossed her arms in front of her and slouched on one side, insolence surrounding her like a natural aura. Lips pouting she gave her a questioning look.

Emma was stunned of a choice of words. She stood quietly trying to think of a good answer to give Twigg. Emmaline looked over her nail bids that looked up to Twigg. It was her fault after all, she had a child at young age and everything, that should be her main concern right now. Sure she could have time on her own ... but she shouldn't abuse that time bedding everything that she liked.
"I just want you to better yourself ... don't take offense of those simple words, but you ..." Emma just halted her words and glanced at the sunlight beaming in the store. She need to somehow get on Twiggs good side, but Emma wanted Twigg to not be so careless; because before you know it she would end up pregnant again.
Emma started toward the door. She need to think over a script to converse with Twigg.

As if Twigg didn't get enough of things like this from her Mother. If things were that bad, Kennie wouldn't let her run riot, Emma had no idea about what happened in their house or how Tyler was treated, that little boy couldn't be more loved. Sure he probably got a little more sugar than necessary, but what the hell, he'd live wouldn't he. "Don't worry your pretty little head Prince, my infected body and mind are just find, not about to drop dead and let me son die of exposure or anything like that," she smirk had turned slightly annoyed. What right did this girl, or anyone for that matter, have to judge her? Twigg was the best mum she could be and in her opinion she was doing a damn good job.
"What do you know about raising a child anyway," she half spat, turning back to the cardboard box on the shelf and looking into the contents, selecting a CD and searching for it's proper place. Finally finding B she slipped in the copy of the Count your blessings album and returned her hand back to the box, her eyes catching Emma's move for the door as she worked. "What you're not even going to buy anything?"

Emma sighed at her remark and stopped near the door looking at some random Cd. Actually it looked quite interesting. Emma picked it up and looked over the back reading the song titles.
"What do you know about raising a child anyway,"
Emma looked up for the Cd she held in her hand. Twigg had no clue what had went on in her life and how she had to practically raise her little sister. Twigg had no right to ask her the question. Emmaline was about to say something to Twigg but the terms where already bad between the two.
Emma just took the Cd to the register and set it gently on the counter top. "Do you know of anywhere that I could maybe get a job?" Emma asked ignoring the comment before, she thought it would be alright to let things calm down.

It was obvious the girl had something to say to Twigg and the fact that she didn't gave her a strange sense of power and pleasure, maybe there was still a hint of the bully in the girl from her youth. As Emma made her way to the register she frowned and let out a small sigh, at least she hadn't actually expected the girl to just buy something because she told her to. Dropping the box once more, she dusted imaginary dust off of her skin tight jeans and made her way to the register, in no particular hurry.
Ducking under the desk she appeared on the other side and picked up the CD from the desk, her fingers sticking to the flimsy plastic that encased it. Scanning it quickly she pursed her lips and eyed the girl at the question. Why would Twigg help her out with job hunting, hell if there was a job going, she'd be the one to need it, she was the one with the kid after all. Dropping the Cd into a bag marked with the shops emblem she held out her hand, "That'll be $15," waiting for the money she considered the question. "Maybe Greasers is looking, but I don't really think it's your type of place," with another smirk she waited for a reaction. Even Twigg didn't fancy working there, she got perved on enough over at the Pits.
