Carefully stepping out of her car Bria flipped her blond hair over her shoulder and placed her sunglasses ontop of her head. She looked like one of those dumb blonds in the heals with the really expensive cars. Truth was, Bria's car meant the world to her and even if she had to step foot into that terrible shop and ask Kennie Canstine to fix her car she would.
Tugging the door open it made one of those horrible 'ding dongs' as the automated bell went off. Shuddering and deciding that she officially hated those bells she placed her keys in her purse and walked off to the front counter.
"Excuse me?" she asked in a sickly sweet, fake voice, "My air conditioner isn't working and I think the coolant needs to be drained." Bria knew this sounded shockingly stupid but the thing was spring break was coming up and she was going to florida, where she would need the effing air conditioner! Though probably the biggest surprise was that she knew what coolant was and what it did for her car.

Hearing the ding dong go off Kennie stood up, tying her hair back in a messy bun. It was as low day at the shop when it came to customers but if she took on any more cars it was likely that she'd get backed up at least a day and a half..and that severely pissed off people who didnt' know anything about cars.
Upon seeing Cambria Clarkson, Kennie did all she could not to sneer in disgust. It was common knowledge that two detested each other with a passion. Though very few people knew the reason behind it. Leaning against the counter, oil smearing her hands and her face, some on her shoulders, Kennie waited patiently and somewhat professionally while Cambria rattled about her coolant. Nodding she stood up and clapped her hands together before resting them on her hips.
"I can have it fixed tomorrow, I'm sure it's not just your coolant." She said with extreme patience, doing all she could not to grit her teeth and tell the girl to get out. After all, with their history it was amazing that she'd had the balls to step into a place that was Kennie's. "Bring it around back and I'll get started as soon as I can." She said, it was simply the truth. Kennie needed the job, and she wanted it. Cars were something Kennie was crazy about after all.

Bria nearly laughed when she saw the effort it took to keep Kennie from lashing out at her. Internally she rolled her eyes and wondered how on God's green Earth she had managed to be realated to such a great guy like Frank. Bria caught the end of Kennie's speach and quickly becam anoyed. Of course it was the damn coolant! Bria had specifically learned about cars when recieving hers in order to make sure no one fucked up her baby. It was the damn coolant and she was positive about that.
Walking back to her car she hopped in and drove it around to the back. She knew that her's was the most exppensive car Kennie had probably ever seen, after all pepole around here just didn't have cars like hers.
Exiting her car and leaning aginst it she waited to see what Kennie would say next.

Tyler safely in her arms she hummed the tune of the bands newest song under her breath, for some illogical reason missing out humming where the song sweared. Well that was Twigg for you, illogical all over, well most people thought so anyway, and after hearing Emma preach about how she could do so much better and should find a nice guy instead of sleeping with anyone, she was feeling slightly annoyed. What if she didn't want a nice guy to settle down with? The only guys she needed in her life were Tyler and Frank.
Tossing long blonde hair mixed with blue she hipped the door of the garage open, carefully dodging the handle to stop the babies chubby little fingers from reaching out and grabbing it, they'd already had a fall out that day over the way Tyler incessantly tugged at his mothers hair, and she hadn't been in the best moods to begin with. Calling out her best friends name as she entered the shop she was echoed by a slightly more gargled version of "Kennie" by Tyler. This made her smile at least, there were certain things she just couldn't resist. The utterance was quickly followed by "Donuts," the little boy had made the connection between the sugary snacks and his second Mother quickly, and it didn't help that Twigg had got him ready that morning by promising him something sweet.
When her green eyes finally sought out the familiar figure of Kennie near a car, she gave her a friendly grin, "Hey babe," she called, restraining Tyler's wiggling arms. What she didn't expect though was the familiar blonde head stood opposite her best friend. A frown adorned her face at the sight. What the hell was she doing here? Keeping the question quiet she gave Kennie a questioning look and forced a rather awkward "Hello Cambria," from her lips.

Watching Bria turn around with her laughter Kennie refrained from reaching out and just pulling her backwards, how her brother was friends with the witch she couldn't understand. Instead Twigg walked in, the same sneer as Kennie's adorning her lips. It was all she could to not laugh at the fact that now...the Princess was out numbered.
As she pulled her vehicle around back she walked through her way, signifying for Twigg and Tyler to follow her so they could chat after Cambria left. "Toss me the keys." She said simply, reaching onto her board of spare car keys and tossing her the keys to a Ford Taurus. "You can use that one til tomorrow, there's at least half a tank. Fill it before you return it or I charge double." Kennie said simply, as if this girl wasn't one of those people that she just....couldn't stand.
Turning to Twigg she smiled with exhasperation, no one really understood how much effort it took to be around someone you couldn't stand, even for a few minutes. What Kennie couldn't understand was if the girl knew so much about the damn thing why didn't she fix it herself. Instead of finishing that thought Kennie walked into her office for a moment and came out with a white paper bag, handing her 'best little man' a small donut hole. "I thought you'd stop in for a visit." She laughed, still waiting for Cambria's keys.

Sighing she nodded to Twigg out of politeness. Honestly she had no clue what on Earthshe had done to that girl. She'd maybe only said a total of... ten words to her in the entire time she'd known her and yet she hated her just as much as Kennie did.
What kind of a name was Kennie? She hated it almost as much as she hated who it belonged to. She would call her Canstine but she had a brother so that was out nad calling her Jamie to spite her was just plain dumb considering that there was another Jamie, Jamie Riko, and that would just be plain confusing.
Glaring at the car Kennie was talking about she realized that she was doing this to spite her. Kennie knew Bria liked fast, expensive cars and this one was definately not fast... or expensive.
"I'll give back you precious car with just as much gas is in it," Bria told her, refraining from sneering the sentance. Tossing Kennie the keys she dicided it was her turn to threaten her. "If my car isn't in the exact same condition it was in when I leave, I just won't pay you."
Looking at Kennie she tried to make her understand that it wasn't supposed to be a terribly mean threat. "Tyler's your baby, that car is mine. Treat it like you would Tyler..." she said, suddenly adding an extra "Please," for affect.

The way Cambria and Kennie were...they were as far from being friends as two people could possibly be without killing each other. It was something that had sort of just happened...they hadn't planned it or anything. One of those 'meant to be' things. "Cars mean just as much to me Cambria, anyone within a hundred mile radius knows that." Kennie said, once again resisting the urge to sneer at the girl. The comment of gas went unnoticed, it seemed pointless to care at this point.
The comment about Tyler caught Kennie slightly off guard. From what she saw....Cambria didn't understand 'kind' human relations. That was something that was clearly over her head in Kennie's opinion. Twirling the keys in her fingers Kennie nodded in silent agreement with Cambria and turned towards Twigg. "So how's your day going today?" She asked, hoping to hear the roar of the dinky little car's engine.
It struck Kennie as funny that even people who hated her would come to her for help with their car. If there was one thing they couldn't argue with it was her vehicle intelligence.

Bria looked at the girl in front of her knowing she hit her mark. The elegant retort that ecoed from Kennie's lips wasn't as forcefuly nice as the others were. She watched the short head nod the girl gave her and to that as some kind of recognization.
She knew that Kennie didn't believe that she could act human, much less understand human relations. . .especially after. . . but that wasn't her fault! It was Kennie's for caring so much, not that Bria actually still cared about that silly day from so many years back. It was behind her and she had no intention of ever fixing it.
It was becoming obvious that Kennie wasnted her to leave and she herself, couldn't wait to get out of there. Not that she was excited about the fricken car, but it would have to do, after all, she should only have to deal with it for a day. . .or two.

Watching the girl from the corner of her eye Kennie couldn't help but feel as if a nasty taste had entered her mouth, or something to the effect of. Her entire being just wanted the girl far away. She would fix the damn car, get her dues and that would be that. After all, since that day when they were kids...right before her mom left...Kennie shook her head, still facing Twigg.
It wasn't as if she cared at this point whether or not Cambria apologized. It just meant that a bond that had once been was something much much stronger. Hate in one of it's truest forms. "Two days." Kennie confirmed, looking over her shoulder at Cambria. Who looked as if she'd rather run ten miles than drive the Taurus anywhere. Some part of Kennie smiled at the idea.

Bria knew that Kennie was making her drive the horrid thing on purpose. She knew full well that ther were other fucking cars on the lot just as drivable as the Taurus, but no... Kennie had to be a bitch about it. Fine! She'd take the car and leave, but only becasue she wanted to get as far away from the girl as possible. She was starting to make her skin crawl.
"Two days," Bria echoed back to her, not even bothering to turn around as her heals clacked aginst the pavement. Walking over to the car she stopped in front of it. Reaching out to pull on the handle she stopped short. The car was like a disese. She liked her cars fast and elegant, not. . .well not THAT! The red paint was scratched off in a couple of places and it was just plain horrid.
Sighing and finally pulling the handle she slid into the nasty car.

Cambria's disgust was almost...visible in front of Kennie. It hadn't crossed her mind until she'd tossed the keys just how much the girl wouldn't like the car and that made her laugh heartily inside. She could feel Twigg's internal laughter as well.
It seemed she was struggling with the vehicle as you would with someone's very ugly child, she didn't want to be anywhere near the vehicle. In Kennie's mind, cars were all worth something. In her world, even the most worthless car could be turned into something that could be driven and useful. That was what she'd done in her spare time when Frankie was finding himself and Kennie was left to spend time on her own.
A flash of the time she and Wyatt had actually worked on a car together...she'd never been covered in so much oil and car gunk in her life as she was that day. The memory made her laugh, though she let it off as if Cambria's distaste were the things that were making the moment enjoyable. "Don't kill yourself, I think it tops at about 90." She said, smiling.
