West has dark brown, near black hair that he usually keeps short and slightly shaggy. He has dark brooding eyes that are irresistible when he gives you the puppy dog eyes. West generally tries to keep himself clean and nicely dressed, but sometimes he lets his whiskers grow a bit, before shaving. Hes got a very solemn look about himself and can pull the tortured artist look off as well. Hed be a great front man in any band, though hes not very good with crowds.
West has a couple tattoos, one of them is on his back right shoulder of claws ripping through his skin. The other one is on his inner left wrist of a tribal circle thing. He has a metal plate inside of his head from the accident. He also has a scar on his leg from the leg surgery from the accident as well and a few more scars from the accident.
West has a nice build and usually works out to keep his mind off of things. He has a natural tan coloring from his father. West clothing is mostly dark and he generally wears a t-shirt and dark jeans. Since the accident it has taken quite a toll on him and he looks a couple years older then what he really is. Not to mention with his lack of sleeping he has slight bags under his eyes.

overall personality;;
West has a lot of self hate, hes not an emo, but he definitely is not happy with himself. He wished he would have died in the accident instead of being the only one that survived. Hes a nice guy, but he keeps to himself and doesn’t really like to socialize. Its been hard for him to get close to anybody, because its almost as if hes punishing himself for what happened.
West has a slight case of insomnia, being unable to sleep for anything more then an hour or two here and there. Whenever he sleeps all he does is dream of the accident and it tears him awake. He tends to live off of coffee.
West doesn’t remember all the details of the accident, because he affected his short term memory during the accident. There are times, though, when he remembers details when hes not sleeping and as much as he would like to punish himself, he cant seem to deal with the images so instead he tends to drink… a lot. Unfortunately when hes drunk hes sleeps and therefore dreams. It’s a vicious cycle but he seems to keep doing it.
Hes a talented guy though, losing himself in his drawings, writings, and Music. Anything to keep him occupied, hence one of the reasons he is so adamant about working out. It keeps is mind from dwelling on things.
He doesn’t sleep around and in fact hasn’t been with another girl since Bridgette died. Even though hes a loner, he really is a sweet guy and he is a one woman guy, not a player.

history;;
West grew up your normal happy life, except for his father walking out on them when Ryder was born. His parents marriage had already been on the fritz, but once the new baby had arrived that had been the last straw. He left his mother to deal with everything. West tried to help out all he could, but theres not much a little kid could do. They were able to get into more of a routine after awhile and soon their life seemed back to normal. West and Ryder got along well, more then most siblings would. Ryder looked up to him and West loved Ryder and would do anything for him.
When West entered high school that’s where he met Bridgette. She had been the new kid in school and he somehow ended up showing her around. One thing let to another and they ended up dating. It was almost like a fairy tale relationship. They were the envy of a lot of the high school couples, because we all know how relationships in high school goes. They were together for quite some time. They had been together for nearly four years before the accident.
The night of the accident, his brother, Bridgett, and West had all gone out to a concert a couple cities away. It was late by the time they were coming back and as they were crossing an intersection they were side swiped by a semi. Their car was drug 15 feet before it came to a stop. Ryder and Bridgette didn’t make it and West was in critical condition. T hey actually hadnt expected him to live, but managed to save him after a few months in the hospital from the coma, 8 surgeries, and about six months of therepy, west was as close to normal as one would get in his position.
It was later found out that the semi driver had been working a double shift and passed out at the wheel. West didn’t seem to grasp that and thought if maybe he had payed more attention he would have known the driver wasn’t going to stop at the stop sign. It was easier to blame himself them forgive the semi driver. His mother noticed the difference in her son, he just wasn’t the same old happy loving west that used to be her son. The accident didn’t only affect West, but his mother as well and their relationship. West became distant from her and it was almost as if they were two strangers that lived together.
Because of the time he had been out of school from the accident he ended up taking his senior year over again. When he graduated he persued his love for music and took the acceptance to here.

your OTHER work;;
Josh glanced around the darkened room. His mother was either passed out upstairs with some random guy from the bar, or she was gone again, not expected to be home for a week or two. He snorted and opened the fridge door, snatching one of the beers on the top shelf. He moved to the counter popping the cap off and taking a drink, letting the nice cool liquid move down his throat. His eyes had adjusted to the dark, as he moved through the house to the stairs. He headed up to his room, which he shared with Micheal, his baby brother.
His gray/blue eyes darkened a bit as he heard a bit of a gargling noise. A frown touched his lips as he entered the room his eyes automatically going to the crib where Micheal lay sleeping. Josh wondered how long his mother had been gone for, before he got home. She never cared about the two boys, she was always at the bar. Josh was amazed at how long Micheal had survived with only him taking care of him.
They had no father, not like it mattered, neither of them knew who their fathers were, and his mother sure as hell didnt know. She was always too drunk or stoned to care who she was sleeping with. It only became a problem when a month later she realized she was pregnant.
Josh had been afraid Micheal would turn out with something wrong with him. His mother hadn’t taken care of herself while she was pregnant. Still drinking and shooting drugs up her veins or sniffing them. Anyway she could get them she would. She didn’t even stop when it came to shooting them through her tear ducts so the police wouldn’t catch her. She could barely keep a job, right now she was in-between jobs. He wasn’t even sure where she was getting the money to go out.
Josh had been the one to get the job, he was barely making by at school and sometimes skipped to pick up hours. Thanks to him they had enough food to get by, and micheal had toys and a crib and diapers. Thankfully he had someone to watch Micheal while he was at work or school, the neighbor lady agreed to watch him, though she only knew a little of what went on, she didn’t know it all.
Setting the beer down on a nearby table, he put the one side of the crib down and set his hand on his brothers stomach lightly, just to feel him breathing. He often found himself doing this, it was a bit comforting for him. This way he knew his brother was still breathing, that his little heartbeat was still strong. For the most part, his brother was practically an angel among babies. He rarely ever cried, and he was such a happy baby, all things considered. It amazed him really, but Josh was glad, because he really wasn’t sure if he could have handled one of them noisy babies.
Micheal didn’t wake up, but he seemed to be attuned to Josh's touch and he made a slight, purring sound, almost at his touch. A half grin tugged at Josh's lips, before he pulled away, putting the side panel up again and then moving away to sit on his bed. He sighed, taking another drink of the beer and setting it back down as he leaned back on his bed, his hand resting on his stomach. He looked up at the ceiling and then closed his eyes as he used the toe of his foot on each side to kick off each shoe. It didn’t take long for sleep to take its toll on his exhausted body
