overall appearance;; Lynn appears to pretty much be the average young lady that she is, except for the fact that she’s blind. She has a curvy figure that she doesn’t mind so much and could actually care less if she was blessed with the curves or not. She dresses in an array of clothing from vintage tees to crop tops and halter tops depending on what she wants to wear, and she’s most often got on a pair of jeans. She was never really one for showing off her legs even though they are rather shapely. Most often they have holes in them in just any random spot. She doesn’t really care really.
Her hair is most often found down and in it’s natural wave. It’s just a little too difficult most of the time to try and style your hair when you can’t even see it. She doesn’t really wear make-up either unless someone does it for her. Once again, some things you can’t do as easily when you’re blind. She has a pair of sunglasses that she usually wears pretty much all the time, and when she’s not got them on she usually has them resting on top of her head. She has a collapsible cane that she’s always carrying around. She kind of has to actually. Its handle has a staff of musical notes decoratively carved into it. Her parents had it special made for her.
She has a few piercings. Of course she has her ears pierced, but they are double pierced. She also has a nose ring that her parents had been none-too-happy to see at first, but then they dealt with it and grew to actually kind of like it. One her chest is a tattoo of a set of notes on a wavy staff that shine through the darkness. She got it as a symbol of her light in the world of darkness she lives in. Knowing it’s there helps her get through the day.

overall personality;; Colette is a very strong willed girl. She’s been through a lot of things since she was a teen, but she hasn’t let it get her down. She knows she has a slight handicap in her life, but she does her best dealing with it. She persevers the handicap and works through it. Since sometimes she doesn’t have much choice, she doesn’t mind asking for help when she needs it. Sometimes she doesn’t really like to, but she doesn’t have much choice.
She’s very sweet and doesn’t mind talking. She most often keeps to herself though. She’s never been very good at meeting new people, so she’s actually kind of shy at first believe it or not. She doesn’t let people get to her when they bug her about being blind. She doesn’t except people’s pity about it either. Pity just makes her feel as if she’s helpless and can’t fend for herself. She’s not helpless at all. There are only a few things that she can’t do on her own, and most of those few things don’t have much priority in her life.
Music has always been her life. Since she could sit on the piano bench she’s been playing it and she enjoys it. Most people would say she has an artistic view of life really. Music is what helps her get through her life. Whatever type of mood she’s in is the type of music she listens to or plays. It’s just one of her personality traits.

history;; Lynn wasn't always blind. She came from a very loving family, and they noticed early on her love of music and singing so they paid for some piano lessons and she easily took to it. She was extremely good and was always telling her parents how she was going to be a big star in the music world one day. When she was about fifteen an ex-boyfriend taught her how to play a guitar, which came as easily to her as the piano did. She loved the music. It gave her freedom, but things soon changed for her. When she was sixteen she was given a nice car after she got her license.
She was in a horrible car accident just a few months after getting the new car. It wasn't her fault though. A drunk driver rammed right into her and everything from then on changed. When she awoke she awoke to a world that would forever be darkness. She was scared, but she faced the problem head on. The doctors said that it was possible that her sight would come back, but that hope soon diminished after a year of hoping and yearning. She didn't let her handicap ruin her love of music though. If anything she pushed harder because she needed something to fill that void that had entered her. With the help of a tutor she learned music and where all the notes were on the piano keys and what all chords were played were on a guitar as well as how to read brail and write without being able to see it.
Her one day found White Hill Academy’s website and enrolled her. When Lynn learned that she was thrilled to high heavens. This was just the opportunity that she could use to get a start in her music career. So here she is now. Kind of on her own, and it’s not easy, but she doesn’t let stuff get her down. She just pushes through though and she enjoys it.

your OTHER work;;
Colette came up the front door of Forever Art and pulled out her shop keys while she took a sip of coffee from her emerald green mug. It was her turn to open the shop this week, and she really didn't have a problem with that. It was a job that paid, and paid well enough to keep her alive. She even sold some of her art to the store when she was in the need of a little extra cash. She walked in, flipped on the lights and her bluish green eyes scanned the store for anything unusual before she went to the counter setting her messenger bag against the wall behind the counter and then quickly went to clock in before she came back into the store front.
She went to counter and pulled up the stool she usually sat on watching the security camera screens every now and then before she pulled out a book to read. She liked to read. It allowed her to get away from things on occasion, but today she was working on a sketch for a moment. She looked up and out the store window in thought as a few people went by. She just watched contentedly. She quite enjoyed her life now.
Now that her father was out of her life she often worried about her mother even though she assured Colette all the time that she was doing just fine. According to her mother, Colette's father was now going to alcoholics meetings and was starting to slack off. That wouldn't change things though. He had caused her so much pain and misery in her childhood. Childhoods weren't meant to be painful or miserable. They were supposed to be bright and cheery. She just shook her head at the thought and glanced at the security monitor before she looked back down at her sketch.
Her childhood had been nothing of the sort, and there hadn't ever been much she could do. She had been too scared to tell her friends the truth. Too scared her father would hit the point to where he would seriously hurt her or her mother. She had to admit, she did miss her mother. She focused back on the sketch in front of her and started to add the details of the picture of herself flying on the back of a majestic Pegasus’s back. Clouds and stars surrounded the smiling girl as her hair flew out behind her much like the winged horse's full mane and tail. She smiled in amusement at the sight and wondered what it would feel like.
